Its hardshell construction with a plastic outer shell and lightweight EPS liner make it extremely impact resistant. And the Mips® safety system offers additional protection. A slip plane within the helmet absorbs and redirects rotational and centrifugal forces during impact. This reduces the risk of head or brain injury. The scratchproof visor offers the widest possible field of vision – which is important for negotiating urban traffic. The visor can be used over the top of prescription eyewear. A new-style bayonet mount means the lens is easily switched for a darker one or a clear one. And a plug-in LED light at the back gives good night-time visibility. Further highlights: the uvex monomatic comfort buckle with one-handed operation. And there’s a docking slot for a lightweight Hiplok Z LOK security tie.
