How do I clean my cycling helmet?
Cycling helmets should be cleaned at regular intervals to remove insects and sweat residue and ensure their service life.
A few care tips
Liner
The liner, or padding, can be entirely and easily removed from the helmet and washed in lukewarm soapy water. Please allow to air-dry.
Outer shell
A soft cloth or a soft sponge, a mild soap, and water can be used to clean the outer shell and make the reflective elements on the helmet visible again for consistently high safety.
Chin strap
The reflective chin strap, the visor and all other surfaces can be wiped off with ease using the same cloth.
