How do I attach my uvex jakkyl hde chin guard?
Whether uphill or downhill, you’re always well-protected on any route with the uvex jakkyl hde. The chin guard can be attached and detached with ease.
A few tips for the chin guard attachment
Uphill
Detachment: Open the bayonet mount on both sides of the helmet, carefully lift the chin guard away from the helmet, and unhook it at the front. Perfect for uphill climbs.
Cover panel
A cover panel can be placed over the connection system on longer uphill climbs to protect it from dirt and dust.
Downhill
Attachment: Before you get back on the trail, hook the chin guard at the front on both sides, click it into place at the back, and turn the bayonet mount.
