Under the tough ABS hardshell, there is a shock-absorbing polycarbonate inmold layer and EPS core, while the built-in Mips® safety system reduces rotational impact forces – for above the norm standards in protective safety. The uvex 360°-IAS-fit-system creates a precision fit on the head. And the frameless magnetic interchangeable lens with uvex variomatic® technology delivers vision+ ultra-wide field of vision, popping contrast and adapts instantly to changing light conditions. In park position, the visor stays put no matter how much wind drag there is. And when it’s back down again, it creates a precise fit with the helmet – even over the top of prescription eyewear. On top of that, the exchangeable category 1 lens, in contrast-enhancing pink, brings out contrasts in the terrain in low light conditions. The uvex ultimate horizon MIPS also excels at luxurious comfort. A premium merino lining keeps the head dry and is temperature regulating, while the adjustable ventilation system prevents heat from building up. But that’s not all.
