How do I attach the chinguard to my uvex invictus helmet?
Here's how to attach the chin guard to your invictus helmet for extra protection.
A few tips for the chin guard attachment
Fold down fabric covers and remove cheek covers
First, unfold the fabric covers outward on both sides and press the cheek covers outward from the inside.
Click in frame covers
The frame covers must be clicked into place on both sides. These are marked with right and left.
Attach bayonet mounts and chin bar
As soon as the bayonet mount is inserted on each side (with the mounting aid, if neccessary), the chin bar can be placed on both sides and be screwed shut in a clockwise direction.
Adjust the height of the chin bar
To adjust the height, the bayonet mount must be opened again and the chin bar moved to the correct position.
Click the fabric covers shut
Finally, both fabric covers are clicked shut and pressed into the cheek pad.
